Location
Donegal International Airport is situated on the west coast of Donegal in the area of the Rosses/Gweedore.

From Letterkenny take the N56 heading in the direction of Dunfanaghy / Dungloe. About one mile after passing through Kilmacrennan (Cill Mhic Réanáin) take the road on the left, joining the R251, signposted for Gweedore (Gaoth Dobhair) and Glenveagh National Park (Páirc Náisiúnta Ghleann Bheithe). Continue past Dunlewey (Dún Lúiche) until reaching a T-junction where you turn left, rejoining the N56. Keep on this road through Crolly (Croithlí) and shortly afterwards you will see a turning on the right, the R259, signposted for Annagry (Anagaire) and the airport. Pass through Annagry and shortly afterwards take another turning on the right, the R266, signposted for the airport. After a further mile along a winding route you will see Donegal Airport ahead to your left.
